The Arizona Wildlife Conservancy will seek Associate Member Clubs and Organizations who will help it to identify areas of need. As the resources of the AWC increase, so will our ability to facilitate the needs of a wide variety of Arizona clubs and organizations. We will continue to seek the input of all of our Associate Member Clubs when determining future priorities including access and educational programs.

Current Associate Member Clubs:

The purpose of the Greater Phoenix Brittany Club is to promote cooperation and friendship among owners, breeders and other persons interested in the improvement of the breed. The club encourages higher standards in breeding, training and showing, both in the field and in the show ring, and members strive to keep the Brittany forever a Dual Dog. Greater Phoenix Brittany Club is a member of the American Brittany Club, which is an American Kennel Club member and the American Field's recognized breed sponsor. Our club is small but growing, and new members are always welcome! Your input and participation will help us further our goals and maintain an active role in Brittany events throughout the area.

The Cochise Bird Dog Club consists of members from Southeastern Arizona. The Club is affiliated with the Amateur Field Trial Clubs of America (A.F.T.C.A.), part of Region 12. The Cochise Bird Dog Club holds a number of social events and conducts at least one American Field/AFTCA trial annually. The Club was recently approved to conduct AKC Hunt Tests and is looking for approval to run NSTRA events on at least a once a year basis. Check the Club Calendar for known trial dates, training times, picnics, etc."

The Rio Salado Vizsla Club is a non-profit organization that operates under the rules and regulations set forth by the American Kennel Club. Rio Salado Vizsla Club (RSVC) was founded in the early 1970’s by a small group of Vizsla Fanciers. In those days Vizslas were few and far between. The Club has continued to grow as the Vizsla breed has become more well known. Today the Club has more than 100 memberships. RSVC has hosted the Vizsla Club of America National Events three times – 1980, 1986, and 2002. Each year the Club holds four Hunting Tests and two Specialties and Obedience Trials. The Club also holds several Versatility Tests and Canine Good Citizen Tests each year. Club members are very involved in training their Vizslas for show, obedience, and field.
